Taking A Stand

Amelia has been wanting to stand since she was weeks old. I swear, she always felt better being vertical.  So it was no surprise when she went from backwards crawling straight to pulling up to standing at 7 1/2 months.  Now it is her obsession. She needs to pull up onto everything and has begun cruising.  If she can find two things close together to leap off of, she will do that too.  While she does this, she lets out an ever confident "EH!" bounces up and down, and then does raspberries.  

Meanwhile, in other news, we are happy that we can finally read books to her without her wanting to eat them.  It's the little things!
